Emily Banfield, Psy.D.

Dr. Banfield is a postdoctoral fellow at Associates in Neuropsychology & Wellness. She received her Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and Doctorate in Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. Her doctoral internship was completed at Confluence Health Hospital in Health Service Psychology in Wenatchee, WA where her training focused on outpatient and integrated therapy and assessment. Dr. Banfield has experience providing therapy and assessment with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse settings including outpatient hospital clinics, day-treatment programs, residential facilities, private practices, medical offices, and community-based settings. Her research interests include the etiology and maintenance of anxiety-related disorders and their relation to various cognitive processes. Dr. Banfield utilizes an integrative therapy approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
